I told you not to pull my nose off!

Original version.

The 8ft high snowmen belong to the council and are stored in their warehouse which is in the next room to where I work. They wheel them out at christmas time for festive events and occasions, the rest of the time they just stand quietly in the dark, usually without their heads on!
I 'discovered' them one day and couldn't resist taking a series of pictures, after I had put all the heads back on! I positioned them how I wanted them and took long exposures with a 10mm lens on my camera. There wasn't a lot of light in there as I didn't want to use flash. Later on I came up with the idea of creating this photo and enlisted the help of my work colleague who was only too happy to 'play dead' and lie on the freezing cold floor for a long exposure. He came up with the idea of turning some of the lights off to give the picture a more sinister feel, though it meant he had to sit on the freezing floor for an exposure of about 30 seconds and not move a muscle whilst the picture was being taken.
He pulled the nose off the snowman, you can see it by his side, hence the gathering of his snowmen friends to exact their revenge!

I would like to point out that no snowmen were actually hurt in the creation of this picture and that the nose of the snowman was actually cloned out and not actually physically removed as it appears!
