Stormy evening at Godrevy

I decided to make the best of a dull evening by using a long exposure to blur the fast moving incoming tide. It was incredibly windy and I had to hang on to the tripod to avoid movement of the camera. I used a couple of filters over the sky to balance the exposure so that the sky wouldn't be burnt out and the ground underexposed. I had to keep my eye on the tide as it was crashing over the rocks near where i was stood and I had to keep wiping the sea spray off the lens. The polarizing filter i used reduced the glare from the contrasting rocks and helped to lengthen the exposure time. This shot was about 2 seconds.
