Mullion Cove

Mullion Cove is a fascinating place. Big cliffs and sea stacks, gold-leafed with yellow lichen, enclose the narrow inlet and it's substantial piers. Off shore lies the bulky mass of Mullion Island, flickering with seabirds.

I really liked this place, and all the photos i'd seen beforehand didn't do it justice. After a wet start to the day, the sun came out and it was really hot, but with a cool breeze. I know the sea looks calm here but believe me it was incredibly rough and crashing right over the sea wall sometimes, it was spectacular to watch.
