Snowy Woodland

You would think this could be the depths of Canada or the Arctic, not a few miles north of Bolton. All was quiet on my walk today, and I only saw 3 people whilst I was out. This place is very popular normally on a friday afternoon but with the car parks being difficult to access, people stayed away. I parked at the end of Green Arms road and took the woodland path from the A666 down to the reservoir. The sun was glinting through the trees and the occasional puff of wind blew some snow off the branches, as seen to the right of centre in this picture.
