Cregennen Lakes (Llynnau Cregennen)

Llynnau Cregennen are two National Trust managed lakes situated 250m/800ft above sea level in the shadows of the northern slopes of Cadair Idris. This is an ancient landscape revealing 4000 years of human activity with standing stones and hut circles. The lakes are believed to have ritual importance on a Bronze Age route through the mountains to the sea.
