Cawsand and the Beach

It was only a small sand and shingle beach but it was very popular with the locals who used to come down first thing in the morning for a dip in the sea. We would sit here having our breakfast as the cottage was only round the corner, we would look at the yachts anchored in the bay and watch the daily goings on of people messing about in boats, and on paddleboards etc. Sometimes we would see a warship go by and we saw a submarine a couple of times and also Brittany Ferries pass by on the way in to Plymouth.
